BLS Classroom
Course Description:
* This course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED .
* Includes adult, child, and infant rescue techniques, including relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
* Teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in-and out-of-hospital settings.
Audience:
* Licensed healthcare providers (MDs, Dentist, RNs, LPNs, Respiratory Therapists, Occupational Therapists, etc.) who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings

Course Length
* The BLS for Healthcare Providers course will be open to all licensed personnel required to complete BLS regardless of whether they are taking for the first time or renewing.
* This course is scheduled to last 3.5 hours.

* Completion card issued, good for 2 years
